Dear friends,

Greetings from Holland.

The 11^th of April I arrived from Indonesia where I have worked for 6 months. The 5^th of June I hope to go to France where they have asked me to come and help with video editing for Christian French Satellite TV in the busy summer.

There is so much work to be done in the Hospital in Indonesia that they have asked me to make an announcement for more mission workers. Technical persons like me are very much needed. They are also starting a new mission hospital where they need a fulltime technical man as well. I need more hands. That is why my parents and I have started a foundation called “Stichting Helping Hands”. Do you know anybody who is willing to work in missions? Money is needed so that people can be reached with the Gospel. Do you want to help? I like to continue as long as God provides in all I need to go. I met a veteran missionary and he told me; “Daniel you are the first kind Dutch man I meet” An other told me; Daniel you are a real deacon as the Bible describes it” (See verse below)

The Hospital in Indonesia is a light in an area where people meet Jesus. On the picture, you can see the young nurses dressed in white in their training, they are a very important part of the hospital, they are the future.

On the picture I am with my sister Angeline at the tulips field this spring. She is 32 years old, and she is struggling for 2 years against cancer. First things seemed under control, and now it is back again. It is now in her lymph nodes and in her spine. We believe for a miracle, and we appreciate your prayers for her complete healing.

My time here in Holland I am spending renewing the website of www.Stichting-Helping-Hands.nl And I am making a website now for a Dutch mission work in Rwanda, for missionaries whom I know for 20 years. See; www.GeloofHoopEnLiefdeRwanda.nl

Because I am having more and more work done on the computer, I need a good one. Praise God I could buy a good 2^nd hand laptop which is also good for video editing in France. I did have to borrow some money from the bank, because in the meantime, I had to pay my insurance and another immunization shot. I believe God will provide.

My life is surrendered to God, He leads me every day and every step I take. I do not have much time to do fundraising. In addition, I do not have time to earn my own money. That is why I write this newsletter to be able to tell about my work and raise funds. I want to serve my whole life for the work of God. There are of course minimal costs involved, I spend less money than the official minimal required income in Holland. Because of rising costs and some supporters who stop, I lack some support per month. I now have a new goal: I need 1 person per month who will support me with 5$ per month. Do you want to start from this month onward so that I can continue this ministry? The time missionaries spend in missions can be short term or long term, but for some it can be a life term. God knows if I will be able to continue that long. Because I grew up on the mission field, I had a great start. The 1st of July I am working 25 years fulltime for God.
